As a civil ceremony venue we offer one of the most unique locations in
North Devon and a bespoke service to cater for all your special day
requirements.
We are an old
church dating back to 1866. It was decommissioned in 1970 and retains
much of the original character. What was the main body of the
church remains as one large room and is capable of seating a maximum of
sixty people. It is a stunning main room, with some great spots within
the house and garden for photo opportunities. It is a truly special
place.
The premises have been granted a licence by Devon County Council. We are
permitted to have a maximum of up to 60 guests, (including the two
registrars). The church room and dining area can also cater for up to 60
guests for a reception if required.
Our basic cost for the main church room is
£1250.00. This includes flowers throughout the room (additional flower
arrangements can be catered for if required at additional cost), chair
hire, and bespoke room arrangement.
We are able to plan and provide for all aspects of your special
day. We can do as much or as little as you require. The only thing we
are unable to do is book the registrar, which has to be organised by
you.
The complete price for your day would depend on your exact requirements
and we would do everything within our power to make it the perfect day
for the best possible price (please see our price package list). We also
have accommodation here, three rooms plus a children’s room. This
includes the very special West Suite (perfect for the happy couple). It
is a very special room with a king size four-poster bed. The room has
hidden en-suite facilities and its own first floor conservatory with
stunning views.
Our wonderful premises are available for you to view at any time by
arrangement. Having extensive experience in the field of catering and
